I was in the car. One hour later, we were there. Everyone wanted hot cocoa, but I didn’t. Then the kids were done.
We learned about a black bear, an otter, a hawk, a bard owl, and a weird bear. Then we were practicing to have a phone. Then we know how you can take a picture that is interesting.
Then we climbed a mountain that was steep, so steep that I had to grab trees to pull myself up so I didn’t slip. When we got to the top, we were looking for trash and seeds and other plants. When we were done, we did a bark rubbing and looked at plants. We found moss, a mushroom, and more bark.
Then we saw Mr. Huebner take the parts out of the squirrel before he cooked the squirrel meat. Then we ate lunch. I didn’t want to eat the squirrel, bobcat, or bear, so I ate my sandwich instead.
Then we made sculptures. We made a teepee. Then we went in the river and found a few things like a mini tiny lobster and a speed runner. We found a baby scorpion creature. They are called macroinvertebrates.
Then after that, we went to worship God at the falls. I painted and played a flute.
When we came back, we went home. It was such an exciting day to explore. I really want to climb that mountain again!
